Buy Magic Mushroom Grow Kit B+ XL by Mondo® Onlione
The large mushrooms and great output of the magic mushroom B+ kit make it highly recommended. The Bee Plus is without a doubt one of the biggest cubensis mushrooms available. The Magic Mushroom Grow Kit B+ XL – Mondo® is arguably the most durable. People frequently tell tales of using up all of the substrate in their garden, then the following year discovering B+ magic mushrooms growing in the same area. An excellent starter set that will never disappoint.
The latest generation of Mundo® B+ XL magic mushroom grow kits is the product of years of development and experimentation. Now more than ever, the B+ XL grow kit is excellent. The subsequent Magic Mushroom Grow Kit B+ XL – Mondo® generation is enhanced over the initial one by the following:
- Higher yields and more mushrooms
- More flushes*
- improved resistance to impurities
- Simpler instructions that are different
*some strains produce more flushes than others. The first three flushes are the largest.
Meet the new standard of easy grow kits
The Mondo® B+ XL magic mushroom grow kit is slightly different than the grow kits you may have used before. These are mainly ‘under the hood’ differences and are not easily seen.
Just like the previous and other easy mushoom grow kits, you do not need to use additional spores. During the laboratory process, the spores have developed in mycelium inside the substrate (the cake) in the grow box.
How to store the grow kit correctly
It is recommended to start the cultivation process right away. If you decide to start growing later, you may store the grow kit in the refrigerator (2°C to 8°C) for 2 weeks after productiondate. First, wrap the grow kit in a plastic shopping bag and close it well.
Contents
- 1x grow box – This contains substrate with active mycelium (the cake)
- 1x large grow bag – The bag has micron filters to keep contaminants out
- 2x paperclip – For closing the grow bag.
You need
- Misting Bottle – Misting is needed for the humidity level
- Potable water – For misting and soaking
- Clean environment – Work clean to give other fungi and bacteria (micro organisms) no chance to contaminate.
We recommend to use
- Surgical gloves
- Facemask
- Disinfectant for hands
- Disinfectant for surfaces
- Soaking Bag
- Thermometer
- Thermo mat (when room temperature drops below 18°C)
How to prepare the room and yourself before you begin
- Shut all open windows. The Mondo® ‘B+’ XL Magic Mushroom grow kit may become contaminated by bacteria carried in by wind or draft.
- After removing the grow box containing the cake from the carton box, place it on a surface that has been cleaned. The Mondo® ‘B+’ XL Magic Mushroom grow kit may become contaminated if its surface is not clean enough to prevent microorganisms from attaching to it and growing inside.
- Be cautious to keep your hands and arms clean while working. We advise handling the kit with medical gloves or a thorough disinfectant. Wearing a facemask can help you from breathing on the cake and into the grow bag.
Starting the process
- Fill the box with fresh, potable water. Close the grow box well and let is soak for 12 hours.
- After 12 hours, pour the surplus of water out of the grow box.
- Place the grow box inside the large grow bag. The open end of the bag should point upwards.
- Remove the lid from the grow box. Rinse the lid, and store it in the ziplock bag for later use. Place the ziplockbag with the lid back in the carton box.
- Fold the open end of large grow bag twice; do not cover the micron filter.
- Place the paperclip on the fold, so the bag stays closed. Now the Mondo® ‘B+’ XL Magic Mushroom grow kit is ready to grow.
- Place the Mondo® ‘B+’ XL Magic Mushroom grow kit inside the carton box, on top of the ziplock with lid.
Temperature
24°C is the optimal temperature. Make sure the temperature doesn’t go below 18°C or above 29°C. You can use a thermo mat to maintain the perfect temperature and prevent it from falling below 18°C. In the winter and in the coldest parts of the world, a thermo mat is an absolute necessity.
Light
Light is all that is needed for the mycelium in the Mondo® ‘B+’ XL magic mushroom grow kit to “understand” that it has reached the surface. Mushrooms will grow only then. It is more than sufficient to have a few hours each day of indirect sunshine or fluorescent/artificial light. Avoid letting the sun beam directly on the grow kit as it may kill the mycelium.
Water / Misting
You start with misting the day after you start the procedure. Take the paperclip off to open the grow bag. Spray once against each side of the bag rather than directly onto the cake. Thus, you mist four times a day. Additionally, misting allows new oxygen to enter the bag. Use the paperclip to reclose the bag as soon as it has stopped misting.
Mushrooms
In five to sixteen days, if all goes according to plan, the first little mushrooms—known as pins—should start to appear. The tension affects this as well. Certain strains of Cubensis grow more slowly than others.
Flushes
The mushrooms appear in clusters. This group could be tiny or large. Depending on the tension, yes. This kind of growth is referred to as a flush. It is rare for mushrooms to be ripe all at once. A kit can be used for multiple flushes. The greatest flushes occur during the first two. More flushes will follow, but they will be smaller than the first.
Picking
Picking mushrooms when the veil between the hat and the stem has just torn indicates that they are ripe. Do not delay any longer. If possible, wash your hands, wrists, and arms. Wear surgical gloves. Select the ripe mushrooms while leaving the others to grow. Grasping the mushroom base with your thumb and index finger, you may remove the mushrooms from the cake. Gently turn your hand clockwise until the mushroom releases its hold. Never remove the mushrooms by hand. This could potentially harm or even kill the mycelium. Once the majority of the larger mushrooms have been harvested, proceed to harvest the smaller ones along with the pins.
Mushrooms that grow from the sides
Where there is less penetrating resistance and light penetration, mushrooms flourish. The light beaming on the sides of the cake may encourage the growth of mushrooms. This is difficult to argue against and is permissible. To keep the edges of the grow box dark, some growers wrap aluminum foil around them, but this isn’t always effective.
There are mushrooms that can be plucked right before the kit is soaked.
pristine hands After removing the grow box from the bag, invert it onto the palm of your other hand. To get the cake to fall onto your hand, wiggle the plastic box. You can set the plastic box on a surface that has been cleaned. You can now pick the mushrooms from the cake’s sides with this free hand. Once every mushroom has been harvested, return the cake to its original location within the plastic box and proceed with the soaking step.
Soaking
You set up the gear for the following flush once all the mushrooms have been harvested. Remove the grow box from the large grow bag using clean hands or gloves. Add potable water that is fresh to the box. Remove the ziplock bag’s lid, then use it to shut the grow box. The closed grow box should be wrapped in a clean plastic shopping bag or placed inside a soaking bag. Put it in the refrigerator (2°C to 8°C) for 12 hours after tightly closing it. We refer to this as the soaking process. The cake will now be saturated with water, readying it for the subsequent flush.
You can hang the grow bag with the micronfilter upside down to dry during the soaking process. Ensure that it is hung upside down to prevent microorganisms from entering the bag. After each flush, many growers would rather use brand-new, unused grow bags.
Take the soaking bag and grow box out of the refrigerator and unpack it after 12 hours.
Next Flush
To proceed, carry out steps 3 through 7 exactly as you did the previous time around. A fresh flush will emerge a few days later. A Mondo® ‘B+’ XL Magic mushroom grow kit will yield at least two or three flushes. A kit can yield more flushes if you are an expert cultivator.
The end
Grow kits can be disposed of after the Mondo® ‘B+’ XL Magic Mushroom grow kit turns green, red, grey, or yellow, or when no additional mushrooms sprout out of them after the second flush for at least three weeks. The grow kit may have become contaminated with bacteria or another fungus as a result of the color change. The Mondo® ‘B+’ XL Magic mushroom grow kit is finished and should be tossed outside in the trash. No further mushrooms will grow from it.
Spores
When you are too late picking the mushrooms, they will drop their spores. The cake and the mushrooms will turn black/purple (some other cubensis strains red/brown) because of the spores. This is not really a problem; it just doesn’t look very pretty. When mushrooms release their spores, they also start to degrade and the active ingredients are breaking down. Mushrooms will lose some of their potency.
